The candle that changed his mind.
 
Our founder’s dad was never a candle guy. He has serious allergies, and for years, candles meant smoke, soot, and black residue. But when Embers + Apothecary opened, he kept showing up to support his daughter and her new business, making candles long before he was ready to burn one at home.
 
After learning that our candles are made with clean-burning coconut-apricot wax and properly wicked to help minimize soot, he finally lit one. This was the scent that won him over.
 
Dad’s Favorite blends warm Egyptian Amber with bright Effervescent Pear for a scent that feels smooth, cozy, and gently fresh. It became the candle her parents burned constantly, then one we made constantly, and now one of our studio favorites.
