Service Description
A one-on-one consultation for candle makers who are already making candles and want focused support with a specific challenge, performance issue, or formulation question. Sessions are custom-built around your needs. We can dig into issues such as hot throw, wick performance, wax and vessel compatibility, fragrance load, burn behavior, process, or other factors affecting your candles' quality and performance. Together, we'll review what you're currently doing, identify what may be contributing to the issue, and work through practical recommendations and next steps to help you get closer to the results you're trying to achieve. Because candle making involves multiple interacting variables and often requires continued testing, a consultation cannot guarantee a specific formula or final result. The goal is to help you understand what is happening, make more informed decisions, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. After booking, you'll receive a short pre-session questionnaire so your consultation can be focused on the questions and challenges most important to you. $175/hour Available in-studio or virtually.
Cancellation Policy
We accept consultation bookings up to two weeks in advance through 24 hours prior. For same-day appointments, give us a call to confirm availability. Whether we're connecting by phone, video or you're coming into the studio, the consultation is complimentary. We believe the discovery phase should feel exciting, not transactional, so we don't charge for your time with us. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for as much notice as possible so we can offer the time to others. If you choose to take home a candle or fragrance sample during an in-studio session, materials are charged at our standard studio rates, typically $5 to $20 per sample depending on vessel size.
